Welcome to BME 530!!
If you are here and decided to use Code Grand Rounds, welcome and thank you!
These are the private BME 530 forums on Code Grand Rounds. Here, you can ask (and answer) any questions that arise throughout the course (similar to Reddit). All of the tracks assigned to you are completely optional, but we have chosen ones that align the best with the goals of the course. The most useful ones will likely be Introduction to R, Introduction to AI, and any of the project/ algorithm based tracks. Note that most of the projects and algorithm tracks are currently in Python, but the general ideas will translate easily to whatever coding language you find most fun. Also, if you complete a track you will get a fully validated LinkedIn certificate!
At the minimum, please make a post if:
- Code Grand Rounds isn't working for any reason
- You find a grammatical or content error on the site
- There is something that is not on Code Grand Rounds that you wish was
- You get confused!
The whole point of this platform is to make the learning experience less painful, so if there is anything we can do from our end to make it better, please let us know and we will do our best to make it reality!
Furthermore, if you have questions about R/ ML/ statistics, you are also welcome and encouraged to post them here and someone will get back to you. We want these forums to serve as a discussion place to help everyone learn better, faster.
For any urgent questions, please email Georgie at [email protected]. I will also keep you posted here about any new content that drops on CGR over the duration of the course.
